Metallica moviemaker shoots rainforest horror documentary with Styler

The director behind Metallica's gripping movie Some Kind Of Monster has teamed up with Sting's wife Trudie Styler to shoot a new documentary about the destruction of the rainforest.

The film, Crude, chronicles an eye-opening trip Joe Berlinger and Styler took to Ecuador, and the activist actress/producer admits some of the sights she witnessed will haunt her forever.

She says, "I saw the most appalling human rights violations I've ever witnessed.

"I've seen some pretty grim sights, but nothing could prepare me for the sight of indigenous people with no access to clean water who have been systematically poisoned."
