Final Destination trumps Tarantino's Basterds
The fourth Final Destination movie has soared to the top of the US box office - knocking Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds into second place. The 3-D horror film scored an impressive £17.1 million in its opening weekend of release, comfortably beating the war movie's second week takings of £12.5 million. Halloween II took £10.9 million to secure third place, ahead of District 9 and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra in fourth and fifth respectively.
