Dance show to honour Swayze

Patrick Swayze will be remembered on the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars - the U.S. show's professionals will perform interpretive dances to the music from his hit films Dirty Dancing and Ghost.

The dancer/actor, who lost his battle with cancer on Monday (14Sep09), was a guest teacher on the first series of the hit series in 2005.

He'll be honoured during an episode on 23 September (09).

A spokesman for the show says, "He inspired many people and many of our pros to dance."
