Basterds is Tarantino's biggest box office hit

Inglourious Basterds has become Quentin Tarantino's highest grossing film ever.

The war movie, starring Brad Pitt, has surpassed Pulp Fiction at the box office, grossing over £72 million in North America alone since its release in August (09).

Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, the film's producer, tells WENN, "We have been Quentins biggest fans since the beginning. It was extremely gratifying to see Inglourious Basterds put up such huge numbers. It is a kick-ass film from a director who always keeps me and audiences on their toes."
