50 Cent inspired by Dyer

Rapper 50 Cent jumped at the chance to star in new movie Dead Man Running after learning hardman Danny Dyer had signed on to the project.

In the action thriller, the In Da Club hitmaker plays a loan shark who orders ex-conman Nick, played by Dyer, to pay back the cash he owes in 24 hours.

50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, reveals he became a big fan of crime movies, like Dyer's Outlaw and Daniel Craig's Layer Cake, after watching the films while on tour, and he admits it was Dyer's involvement in Dead Man Running which convinced him to take on the role.

He says, "I knew I would be in a secure space surrounded by this sort of cast."
