Oldman in talks to torment Potter
The fifth slice of teen wizard action Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix has already started filming and original reports had Oldman, star of Hannibal, Leon, JFK and Sid And Nancy, out of the frame to take back the role of Black.
However, he is now in talks to return as the character that plagued Daniel Radcliffe's Potter in Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban.
Producer David Heyman told the Hollywood Reporter: "We're not shooting his part for quite a while, and as is always the case, you begin with the parts that are most pressing.
"We have every intention of having Gary Oldman play Sirius Black."
The latest in the series, directed by David Yates (The Girl In The Cafe), will see Jason Isaacs (Black Hawk Down), Ralph Fiennes and David Thewlis (Naked) return to the cast with Potter newcomer Vera Drake actress Imelda Staunton joining the fray.
