Oldman on board for next Potter flick

Harry Potter fans will be relieved to know that Gary Oldman (Sid And Nancy, Leon, Hannibal) will resume his role as Harry's godfather Sirius Black for the next film in the series: Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix.

Filming for the next screen instalment of J. K Rowling's ultra popular novels started around two months ago and devotees were worried that Oldman might not be able to find time in his busy schedule for the film.

Oldman's manager, Doug Urbanski, said he was surprised that Warner Bros hadn't made an offer sooner as the character plays a key role in the novel.

Urbanski told a Gary Oldman fan site:"The end of the story is Gary's in it. It's a terrific script, and he's so happy to be back."
