Walken set to play ping-pong villain

Not many actors immediately spring to mind to play the role of a menacing crime boss with a penchant for ping-pong.

Christopher Walken (The Deer Hunter, Sleepy Hollow, King Of New York), however, has an impeccable pedigree for playing characters with sanity issues.

No doubt it is this pedigree that has led the people behind upcoming ping-pong flick Balls Of Fury to cast him as ballistic crime boss, Fang.

Dan Fogler is set to make his screen debut in Balls Of Fury, in which he plays a washed up ping-pong champion recruited by the FBI to bring down Walken's character, Fang, at his annual win or die tournament.

Balls OF Fury is the baby of Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant, the writers of hit US comedy cop show Reno 911 and will begin filming in June.
