Silent Hill tops as Dreamz flopsRadha Mitchell (Pitch Black, Phone Booth, Man On Fire) plays Rose Da Silva in the film in which a mother looks for her sick daughter in the deserted town of Silent Hill. The horror picture also stars Sean Bean (Flightplan, Troy, Lord Of The Rings). Silent Hill went in at the top of the box office, taking £11.3 million in its opening weekend, significantly more than another new release American Dreamz. American Dreamz, in which Hugh Grant (Notting Hill, Love Actually, About A Boy) plays a Simon Cowell-like character on a television singing contest, limped in to eighth place in the box office charts with a disappointing £2.1 million take. The other notable entrant was The Sentinel, starring Michael Douglas, Eva Longoria and Kiefer Sutherland, which took £8.1 million and placed third.
