It ain't me babe

Todd Haynes' project I'm Not There, which will explore different aspects of musical living legend Bob Dylan's life and work, has reportedly added another star to an already impressive looking cast.

Cate Blanchett is the latest Hollywood A-lister to have signed up for the project that has been scheduled for a possible release next year.

Already on board are Julianne Moore, Richard Gere, Christian Bale and Heath Ledger – who will be joined by his girlfriend and co-star in Brokeback Mountain Michelle Williams, formerly of Dawson's creek fame.

Blanchett, who won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 2005 for her role as Katharine Hepburn in The Aviator, is set to play a manifestation of Dylan's personality in the film, which in this case takes the form of an androgynous singer songwriter called Jude.

Haynes is no stranger to tackling rock icons, in 1998 he directed the Bowie oriented Velvet Goldmine, which also featured Christian Bale.
