Everyone but JR leaves DallasAccording to Variety, Travolta is the only member of the cast who will stay with the project, which was supposed to start shooting this November. Jennifer Lopez, who was originally connected to the role of Sue Ellen, left pre-production earlier in the year while Luke Wilson will no longer play the role of Bobby Ewing. Travolta, who previously starred in films such as Face Off, Get Shorty and Pulp Fiction, will reportedly still play the role of Texas oil baron JR Ewing. The shooting of JR was one of TV's biggest ever cliffhangers. Director Gurinder Chadha, who replaced original director Robert Luketic, is still at the helm of the movie. Chadha previously directed Bride And Prejudice and Bend It Like Beckham, which starred Keira Knightley.
