New Evan Almighty trailer released

Fans of Steve Carell might be excited to hear there is a new teaser available to watch for his forthcoming movie, Evan Almighty.

The film is a sequel to 2003's Jim Carrey vehicle Bruce Almighty and sees Carell as news reader-turned-congressman Evan Baxter, who is instructed by God - played by Morgan Freeman - to build an ark.

Steve Carell appeared as Evan in the first film, although in a smaller role. He has featured in a number of films since then, including playing the title character in The 40 Year Old Virgin and Brick Tamland in Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.

He was recently seen as Frank in ensemble movie Little Miss Sunshine, which follows a dysfunctional family on a road trip through America.

As office manager Michael Scott, Carell features in the US version of popular television series The Office, in the equivalent role to that played by Ricky Gervais in the original.
