From vampires to ghosts for Kirsten Dunst

2 stars out of 5.0
Marie Antoinette star Kirsten Dunst is to play a young student who starts seeing demonic images in A Jealous Ghost.

The actress, who at age 12 starred opposite Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt in Interview With The Vampire, is also set to produce the movie in collaboration with the Paramount Vantage studio.

Based on a book by A.N. Wilson, A Jealous Ghost is a supernatural thriller which follows the lead character after she has an affair with her college professor.

However, the screenplay differs slightly from the novel, by introducing new characters and some different storylines.

Dunst has built up a varied roster of films, recently starring as Mary Jane Watson in the Spiderman franchise. She also featured in Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind with Kate Winslet and Jim Carrey.

Marie Antoinette - currently on release in the UK - was directed by Sofia Coppola, who also worked with Dunst on 1999's The Virgin Suicides.
