Hewitt wants Bello as movie mum

Jennifer Love Hewitt wants actress Maria Bello to play mum in her feature directorial debut.

The I Know What You Did Last Summer star is set to follow her directing dream by stepping behind the cameras for new movie Wait Until Helen Comes - and she's keen to land Bello as her star.

She tells Eonline.com, "I would love Maria Bello to be in it. I would love her to play the mom in it."

The film will shoot on location in Rhode Island later this year (11).

It won't be Hewitt's first time behind a camera - she directed a handful of episodes of her spooky TV drama Ghost Whisperer.
