Brave yourself for Hostel Part II

Those who enjoy the charms of gore-fest films such as Hostel could be pleased to hear that a sequel to the ultra-violent movie has been scheduled for release on June 8th 2007.

Hostel Part II promises to be just as grisly as the first instalment, which featured a group of young backpackers who get rather more than they bargained for during a trip to Slovakia.

Empire Online reports that as well as increased blood and guts, the sequel will also up the psychological themes and feature two businessmen who buy into the terrifying hostel experience.

The past few years have seen a rise in horror films which feature stomach-churning scenes such as those in Hostel, including Saw and its two sequels.

In addition, movies such as Wolf Creek and The Hills Have Eyes provide a more-than-sufficient amount of suspense and terror, with this year also giving horror fans Final Destination 3 and Silent Hill.
