Orange announces Rising Star nominees

4 stars out of 5.0
The nominees for this year's Orange Rising Star Award have been announced, with the winner set to be revealed at this year's Bafta ceremony.

Each actor is considered in terms of future potential and the award aims to select "the cream of international acting talent".

First up is Emily Blunt, who recently starred as the neurotic assistant Emily Charlton alongside Anne Hathaway in The Devil Wears Prada. At only 23 years old, she began in theatre but garnered critical acclaim for her role in indie hit My Summer Of Love.

Naomie Harris is also in the running, having featured this year in Miami Vice and Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. She previously starred in zombie flick 28 Days Later.

Latest Bond girl Eva Green is nominated, as is Ben Whishaw, who graduated from movies such as Layer Cake to this month's olfactory-themed mystery, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer.

Last but not least is Cillian Murphy, who also starred in 28 Days Later and recently reunited with director Danny Boyle for sci-fi horror movie Sunshine.
