Jackass boys get Hosed

The fearless cast of the Jackass TV show and films are set to star in a new movie, to be produced by Madonna's production company, Maverick Films.

Hosed will star Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Preston Lay and Jason Ancona (best known as Wee Man) as a misfit group of firefighters who have to welcome an over-enthusiastic addition to their team.

The boys shot to fame in stunt-based daredevil show Jackass, which then developed into Jackass: The Movie and Jackass Number Two.

However, the group's ringleader and co-creator of the show, Johnny Knoxville, will not be appearing in Hosed.

He has branched out into other film projects recently, starring opposite Jessica Simpson in The Dukes of Hazzard and Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl in The Ringer.

Various tricks played in the Jackass series included eating as many eggs as possible and stunts entitled Butt X-Ray and Rocket Skates.
