Honestly, Tara Reid's next movie is a comedy

American Pie star Tara Reid is set to star in a new romantic comedy entitled Honestly, about a private eye who falls in love with one of her subjects.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, she is to take the lead role which will be directed by her brother Tommy.

The film, which sees the pair reunite after previously making bowling comedy 7-10 Split, is also set to star Vinnie Jones and former American football player Eddie George.

Tara was first seen as money-grabbing Bunny in The Big Lebowski but later shot to fame as Vicky in the pie-loving series of films.

She went on to star in a number of teen hits such as Cruel Intentions and Josie And The Pussycats.

After appearing opposite Ryan Reynolds in Van Wilder, Tara transferred to the small screen, playing Danni Sullivan in the quirky but hilarious comedy series Scrubs.
