Topher Grace signs up for spy flick

Topher Grace is set to feature in a forthcoming science fiction thriller entitled Source Code, it has been announced.

The star of That '70s Show, who can be seen as Eddie Brock aka Venom in this May's Spider-Man 3, has signed on to the movie, reports Variety.

Although no plot details were released, it is known that the story revolves around time travel, providing a change of genre for the young actor, who is yet to take a lead role in a thriller.

Since leaving the popular 1970s-themed sitcom, Grace has starred in movies such as In Good Company with Scarlett Johansson and romantic comedy P.S.

He began his movie career with a minor role in Traffic, which featured a multi-threaded plot about the drugs trade and its consequences.

The film also starred Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas.
