Neighbours from Hollywood

A feud between neighbours James Belushi and Julie Newmar looks set to end in court.

Belushi has accused Newmar, who played Catwoman in the 1960s Batman television series, of damaging his property.

In a lawsuit he claimed the former super-villain had launched a campaign of harassment aimed at driving him from his Los Angeles home.

Belushi starred in a number of films in the 1980s including K9 and Red Heat. He has since forged a successful television career.

He claims Newmar also badmouthed him to his other neighbours.

The 50-year-old is seeking a court injunction and $4 million in damages.
