Don Cheadle set to star in five new films

4 stars out of 5.0
Ocean's Eleven and Ocean's Twelve star Don Cheadle - who adopted a cockney accent for the stylish heist movies - is set to be a busy man this year having lined up five forthcoming projects.

A biopic of jazz legend Miles Davis is on the cards, according to Variety, with Cheadle starring as the musician himself.

Quest to Ref looks to a change of genre for the actor, being a comedy about a man who gives up his high-flying job as a lawyer to become a referee for basketball games.

Broken Adonis and Marching Powder look set to be dramas, with the first featuring Cheadle as an ex-convict who creates a friendship with a prison officer, while the latter is a partly-fictionalised story of a drug dealer fresh out of jail.

Finally, a political thriller entitled Traitor could provide audiences with a fast-paced and gripping story of a man who is accused of being a double agent.

While there looks to be a range of movies starring the ubiquitous star, he can also be seen in a number of quality films out to rent on DVD, including the Oscar-winning Crash, hacker thriller Swordfish and the noir-style cat-and-mouse story Out of Sight.
