Sunshine given early review by website

2 stars out of 5.0
Sunshine, the forthcoming science fiction thriller from Danny Boyle, the director of 28 Days Later, has been described as a "treat for the senses" by a reviewer.

Set for release on April 6th 2007, Sunshine tells the story of a space crew sent to reignite the sun - but when they change course to investigate an abandoned ship, things begin to go wrong for the team.

Industry website Ain't It Cool News has seen the film and the reviewer, known as Quint, said it is similar in tone to both Aliens and 2001: A Space Odyssey, while describing the visuals and sound effects as "wonderful".

Quint adds that the movie is "hugely enjoyable" and remarks on the metaphysical questions posed by the story and the problems faced by the crew of Icarus 2, the spaceship voyaging through the solar system.

Sunshine stars Cillian Murphy, Chris Evans and Rose Byrne.
