Anna Nicole Smith biopic is wrong, says magazine

A film telling the story of Anna Nicole Smith's life has been described as "sick" and "wrong" by Empire movie magazine's website, which also said it was likely to be a "shameless tabloid cash-in".

The movie is set to start shooting next week and will describe Ms Smith's life from the age of 17 years old to her accidental death at age 39.

It may include widely-publicised events throughout her years, such as the marriage to a Texan oil billionaire, her glamour model career and the death of her son days after she gave birth to a daughter.

However, Empire argues that people were not interested in her while she was alive and she should therefore be of no interest now she has passed away.

"She's been dead about 20 minutes," the publication comments. "We hope everyone involved with this movie will take some time to think about what they've done."

Meanwhile, Willa Ford, an actress and previous member of girl group the Pussycat Dolls, is set to play Anna Nicole in the film.
