3 stars out of 5.0
Historical epic 300 leads the pack today after securing five nominations for the MTV Movie Awards, which are set to take place on June 3rd.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest follows with four nods, while Blades Of Glory, Borat and The Devil Wears Prada are each up for three prizes.

The award ceremony includes categories such as best villain, which this year sees nominees such as Tobin Bell in Saw III and Jack Nicholson in The Departed.

Trophies for the best kiss are also handed out on the night, with The Holiday's Jude Law and Cameron Diaz in competition with others such as Will Ferrell and Sacha Baron Cohen's smooch in Talledega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.

Meanwhile, eleven-year-old Little Miss Sunshine actress Abigail Breslin will be up against Jaden Smith, 9, who co-starred with his dad Will in The Pursuit Of Happyness, for the breakthrough performance award.
