4 stars out of 5.0
Next year's remake of The Incredible Hulk will star Liv Tyler as Bruce Banner's love interest, Betty Ross, it was announced today.

The film, which is to feature Edward Norton as the radioactive man who turns green when angry, follows 2003's previous remake - entitled Hulk and starring Eric Bana in the title role.

However, the latest version of the story will see Norton and Tyler portray the troubled couple, with Louis Leterrier taking directorial duties, following his work on The Transporter and The Transporter 2.

On the new casting announcement, Kevin Feige, president of production at Marvel Studios, commented: "We believe the chemistry between [Tyler] and Edward Norton will explode on screen, adding another compelling dimension to the film."

Liv might be known to many as half-Elven beauty Arwen in all three Lord of the Rings films, while she can be currently seen on the big screen in Reign Over Me.
