Bridge to Terabithia beaten to number oneACNielsen's top ten puts the spider-bitten hero at the top, taking a total of £11,827,013 in its opening weekend, while Bridge to Terabithia - the only other new entry - took £1,045,444. The longest-runner on the chart is Mr Bean's Holiday, which spent its sixth week in the chart, being placed behind Next, Wild Hogs and Fracture in third, fourth and fifth place respectively. Ice-skating comedy Blades Of Glory reached seventh place, while Alpha Dog, starring singer Justin Timberlake, took the number eight slot. This is England and The Painted Veil finished off the top ten, although new releases in the running for next week's rankings could include 28 Weeks Later and The All Together.
