Babel, The Fountain and more out this week

A collection of great films hit the rental market this week, with Babel featuring in the list.

Starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett, Babel is composed of several strands which intersect at various points and attempt to display the difficulties in communication throughout the world.

It was nominated for seven Oscars this year, winning one for the best original score - unlike The Fountain, directed by Darren Aronofsky who previously helmed Pi and Requiem for a Dream.

The Fountain is a fantastical science fiction love story, following a terminally-ill woman and her husband's attempt to fight death throughout three periods in history.

Mind-boggling it may be, but fans of complex and challenging stories may enjoy the movie, which stars Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz.

Also newly-released on DVD is The Return, a horror starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, while ensemble drama Bobby and boxing epic Rocky Balboa are also available for home viewing.
