2 stars out of 5.0
Oscar-nominated actor Matt Dillon is in negotiations to star in a new movie from the director of recent family comedy Wild Hogs.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Dillon - who has previously starred in Crash and There's Something About Mary - is in final talks to join Robin Williams and John Travolta in Old Dogs.

The movie tells the story of a divorced man and his womanising best friend who surprisingly find themselves in charge of two children, while a summer camp leader keeps a close eye on the duo after he develops some sneaking suspicions about them.

Dillon has a varied back catalogue including both independent and bigger-budget films - recently starring in Factotum but also being nominated for an Academy Award for his role as a conflicted police officer in Crash.

He has also worked on family movies before, featuring alongside Lindsay Lohan in 2005's Herbie Fully Loaded.
