Rush Hour 3 premieres in LA

Continuing this summer's trend of sequels and threequels, Rush Hour 3 premiered in Los Angeles this week and is set to be a hit when it debuts in the UK.

Once again featuring Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan, the movie features the duo in a number of tricky situations as they find themselves mixed up with Chinese gangsters.

Both stars attended the US premiere of the movie, with Paris Hilton, Chris Rock, director Brett Ratner and many more celebrities in attendance.

The movie is due out in the UK at the end of this week (August 10th) and both of the previous instalments are definitely worth a watch; the second co-starred Memoirs of a Geisha actress Ziyi Zhang and the first saw the cop buddy genre come back to cinemas in style.

Meanwhile, fans can also catch up on the work of Brett Ratner - who directed all three films and currently serves as executive producer on television show Prison Break. He was also in charge of previous movies such as X-Men: The Last Stand and Red Dragon.
