Reviewer sees Run, Fat Boy, Run

3 stars out of 5.0
A new comedy starring Shaun Of The Dead's Simon Pegg and directed by David Schwimmer has been previewed by a movie website and given the thumbs up ahead of its September release.

Entitled Run, Fat Boy, Run, the story follows Pegg as Dennis, who accidentally gets his girlfriend pregnant and leaves her on their wedding day, only to realise his mistake in doing so five years later.

To get her back, he attempts to outrun her admirer in a marathon - but encounters a slight problem in that his fitness levels aren't up to scratch.

After a preview screening of the film, the Ain't it Cool News writer said he "had a great time with this movie" and "cannot wait to see it again".

Meanwhile, Thandie Newton plays the girlfriend and Black Books star Dylan Moran also features, following his hilarious supporting role in Shaun of the Dead.

Other cast members include Hank Azaria - probably best known for his vocal talents on The Simpsons - although he has also starred in films such as Dodgeball, Shattered Glass, America's Sweethearts and Mystery Men.
