Fast and the Furious 4 'could' get green light

4 stars out of 5.0
Vin Diesel and Paul Walker could be reunited for a fourth instalment of The Fast And The Furious series, it emerged today.

The duo starred in The Fast and the Furious back in 2001, a film which featured slick action, speedy car races and a dose of romance in there as well.

However, Diesel opted out of returning for 2 Fast 2 Furious, which saw Walker reprise his role as Brian O'Connor - a cop who went undercover to uncover a web of money laundering and crime in the world of street-car racing.

The Hollywood Reporter said today that both actors are "in negotiations" for the fourth film - following the third which starred neither in a central role and was released in 2005 with the title Tokyo Drift.

Since the release of The Fast and the Furious, Diesel has starred in movies such as The Pacifier and The Chronicles Of Riddick, while Walker has featured in titles including Into The Blue and Eight Below.
