3 stars out of 5.0
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air himself, Will Smith, is to team up once again with legendary director Michael Mann for a new project, it emerged today.

After working together on the Oscar-nominated biopic Ali, Smith and Mann are set to collaborate on Empire, a story about a global media tycoon and written by Gladiator scribe John Logan, Variety reports.

The news comes as the actor and director are currently working on a superhero movie entitled Hancock, which also stars Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman of Arrested Development.

Meanwhile, fans wanting to catch up of Mann's previous films have a lot of classics to choose from.

Last year saw him adapt seminal 80s TV series Miami Vice into a slick thriller, following 2004's Collateral, which featured Tom Cruise as a hitman.

Other titles in his back catalogue include Heat, The Insider, Manhunter and The Last Of The Mohicans.
