Vinnie Jones rumoured for X-Men spin-off

Footballer-turned-actor Vinnie Jones may star in his own X-Men spin-off, it emerged this week.

Jones played the vicious Juggernaut in X-Men: The Last Stand and rumours have begun circulating that his character may have a whole movie to himself soon, the Guardian reports.

Narc director Joe Carnahan hinted on his website that a Juggernaut spin-off might be on the cards, although the newspaper was unable to secure any official comment on the matter.

Hugh Jackman's Wolverine is set to star in his own movie, as is Magneto, played by Sir Ian McKellan.

Meanwhile, Jones continues to clock up a host of movies on his acting CV, even though many may agree his talents leave a lot to be desired.

Following his debut as Big Chris in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, he has featured in titles such as Mean Machine, EuroTrip, She's the Man and Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties.
