Witherspoon and Vaughn 'clashing on film set'

Filming of a new festive comedy has hit an allegedly rocky patch due to the different working styles of Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn.

Both actors are starring in Four Christmases, as a couple who struggle to visit each of their divorced parents on December 25th.

However, tension is apparently building on the set, because while Witherspoon arrives early and ready to roll, Vaughn turns up looking worse for wear, according to the New York Daily News.

And once they start filming, the differences between the two continue, the newspaper added.

"Reese tries to force Vince into blocking out each scene and running through their lines as Vince tries to convince her that he's an ad-libber and wants to play around and see where the scene goes."

Fans will know that Witherspoon received an Oscar in 2006 for her performance in Walk The Line, while the same year saw Vaughn presented with the MTV Movie Award for best on-screen team in Wedding Crashers.
