Action man Tatum signs up for GI JoeThe roster for the Paramount project, which is currently in development, already includes Sienna Miller, Rachel Nichols, Little Man star Marlon Wayans and Star Wars' Darth Maul, Ray Park. Trade bible Variety has also said that Dennis Quaid, star of The Day After Tomorrow and 80s classic Inner Space, has signed up to lead the good guys as General Hawk. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film will be set in the future and will feature characters based on the popular action figure series, which started with the GI Joe doll in 1964, known in the UK as Action Man. Tatum, whose big break came when he was cast in the video for Ricky Martin's She Bangs, is also signed up to the third instalment of Oliver Stone's unofficial Vietnam trilogy, Pinkville, which the Reporter says is based on the events surrounding the My Lai massacre in 1968.
