National Treasure sequel no secret at box officeAccording to figures from Nielsen, Jerry Bruckheimer's high-octane sequel, which features a stellar cast including Jon Voight, Harvey Keitel, Dame Helen Mirren and Ed Harris, took £2,483,297 at cinemas. It edged out another new charter, Juno, the quirky indie hit from first-time writer Diablo Cody which stars Arrested Development duo Jason Bateman and Michael Cera. Cloverfield continued its rampage at number three, while Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street dropped one place to four. Two new entries, children's fantasy The Water Horse and slick rom-com Definitely, Maybe, debuted at numbers five and six respectively. They are followed by Over Her Dead Body and Penelope, which stars Christina Ricci and Atonement's James McAvoy. Oscar-tipped No Country For Old Men completed its fourth week on the chart at number nine, while CGI rodent-fest Alvin and the Chipmunks, starring Jason Lee of Almost Famous and My Name Is Earl, rounded out the top ten.
