There Will Be Blood star lines up new project

3 stars out of 5.0
An up-and-coming actor who recently starred in Oscar-winning There Will Be Blood has lined up his next project, in which he will both appear and executive produce.

Paul Dano, who played two characters in There Will Be Blood and managed to steal some of the attention away from critically acclaimed co-star Daniel Day-Lewis, will next be seen in Gigantic, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The film is described as an "offbeat romantic comedy" and will also feature Zooey Deschanel of Almost Famous and The Good Girl fame.

Gigantic's plot centres on the relationship between a mattress salesman and a female customer he meets at his workplace.

It is likely to be another likeable and diverse role for Dano, who many will recognise as the moody teen Dwayne in indie hit Little Miss Sunshine.

He has also starred in films such as The Girl Next Door and Taking Lives.
