By George - Jetsons come to big screen

"Catwoman" producer Denise Di Novi has said that her next project could be an adaptation of classic cartoon "The Jetsons".

The famous family from the future look set to follow stone-age counterparts "The Flintsones" to the big screen.

Di Novi told ign.com that latest version of the script was written by Sam Harper - who penned "Cheaper by the Dozen", "Just Married" and "Rookie Of The Year".

Adam Shankman, who directed "Bringing Down The House" and "The Wedding Planner", is set to helm "The Jetsons" - which is a Warner Brothers production.

The key role of George Jetson is yet to be cast.
