Iron Man tightens grip on worldwide box officeThe movie, which stars Robert Downey Jr as industrialist-turned-superhero Tony Stark, raked in over £5 million to add Blighty's box office crown to number one spots in the United States and Australia. Its debut knocked comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall from the top spot into number two on this week's chart. Two other new entries - family fantasy Nim's Island and romantic comedy Made Of Honour - were next in third and fourth respectively. Jessica Alba thriller The Eye dropped to this week's number five, while real-life con story 21 ended its fourth week on the chart in sixth position. Colin Farrell's hitmen-about-town black comedy In Bruges made it nine weeks in the top ten at seven, followed at eight by Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey in Fool's Gold. Mike Leigh's Happy-Go-Lucky continued its run among the country's most popular films at nine, with poignant Iranian animation Persepolis took its place at number ten.
