Elizabeth Berkley and Briana Evigan have signed up to appear in S Darko, Chris Fisher's sequel to Donnie Darko.

Justin Chadwin and Ed Westwick are also set to appear in the movie, in which Daveigh Chase reprises her role from the original cult classic.

Set seven years after the first film, it will follow Donnie's sister Samantha who is attempting to deal with her broken family and flees town with her best friend, after they are beset with bizarre visions.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Berkley will portray a speed freak-turned-Jesus freak whose sentiments about ridding the world of its exponential sin are juxtaposed with her infatuation with her pastor.

Evigan starred in Step Up 2 the Streets and appears on NBC's summer series Fear Itself.

Berkley, who previously starred in cult film Showgirls and US sitcom Saved by the Bell recently completed a stint on CSI: Miami, as well as finishing work on "The Butlers in Love," directed by David Arquette.
