DiCaprio for Tarantino's 'Bastards'?

4 stars out of 5.0
Quentin Tarantino is thought to be keen to sign up Leonardo Di Caprio for a part in his forthcoming film Inglorious Bastards.

The Departed star could be set to join Brad Pitt in the movie, which will tell the story of a battalion of soldiers stranded behind enemy lines during World War II.

Pitt reportedly met with the Pulp Fiction director in France on Tuesday, where he and partner Angelina Jolie are celebrating the birth of their twins.

According to Variety, a meeting between Tarantino and DiCaprio today (July 17th) will see them discuss the role of Colonel Landa - the film's nastiest villain who goes by the nickname of The Jewhunter.

Pitt is expected to take the role of Aldo Raine - the leader of the crack unit which takes on the Nazis.

Movie fans may remember that Pitt's memorable turn as Floyd the stoner in the Tarantino-penned True Romance, while DiCaprio has yet to work with the Kill Bill director.
