Sacha Baron Cohen producing Accidentes

Sacha Baron Cohen is set to produce Accidentes - a new high-profile Hollywood comedy.

According to Variety, the Borat star will produce and possibly take a starring role in the film, which tells the story of a Latin lawyer who represents an immigrant worker after a "landscaping mishap".

The comedian's diary is filling up rapidly, with a film featuring his comedy character Bruno in production, as well as signing up to play Sherlock Holmes in a film about the famous detective.

Accidentes' screenplay will be written by Peter Baynham, who co-wrote Borat and has penned episodes for cult comedies Brass Eye and I'm Alan Partridge.

The Ali G creator was last seen alongside Johnny Depp in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street, as well as providing the voice for the character of Julien in animated adventure Madagascar.

Bruno, a film following Baron Cohen's gay fashionista character, is scheduled for release next year.
