Douglas and Zeta Jones to hook up on set

Celebrity couple Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones want to work together, regardless of the result.

Douglas, 60 this year, and Zeta-Jones, 34, were both in Traffic - but were never in the same scene. They want their next project to be together.

"I'd probably look to do a picture with Catherine next," Douglas told Teen Hollywood.

"The general consensus from the studios is that couples in films are not that interesting.

"So we'll try to find a picture that we'll do some time in the future, simply for the enjoyment of working together. We've got ideas, but we haven't made any definite decisions."

One project that is being mentioned is a remake of the 1950s musical Guys And Dolls.

"It would certainly be an exciting project and I know musical comedy is one of Catherine's loves," Douglas said.

Douglas, however, is less confident about a singing and dancing role.

"Well, I need to talk to Catherine about it," he commented, adding: "I'm very short on the hoofing and the singing part."
