Dreyfuss and Sarandon set for thriller

Richard Dreyfuss and Susan Sarandon have agreed to appear in a new Tim Blake Nelson comedy-thriller.

The pair will appear alongside Ed Norton in Leaves of Grass, it was announced at the Toronto Film Festival.

Specific roles for Dreyfuss, whose credits include Poseidon and Unsung, and Sarandon, who has starred in movies such as Thelma And Louise, have not yet been announced.

Norton signed up for the project last year and is rumoured to be set to play dual roles in the movie.

The film, which is also said to include an appearance by Randall Reeder, is slated for a 2009 release.

Meanwhile, Will Smith has agreed to star in The Last Pharaoh, it has today been reported.

The Hollywood superstar will play the Nubian pharaoh Taharqa, who ruled Egypt between 690BC and 664BC, in Randal Wallace's drama.

Wallace previously wrote the script for Braveheart, which starred Mel Gibson.
