Simon Morris reviews The Getaway.
Master thief Doc McCoy and his wife Carol make a deal with a corrupt politician - Doc will be paroled if he agrees to mastermind a half-million dollar heist. Due to his masterful planning, the heist comes off despite attempted crosses by those he thought he could trust. Doc and Carol are pursued by good and bad guys alike as they make a mad dash for the Mexican boarder in search of a new life.
