We chat to David Schwimmer about his latest project, Trust...
Best known for his role on hit American sitcom Friends, David Schwimmer speaks to us about his shift from comedy to drama, his personal investment in Trust and how he has been developing the film for seven years.
A suburban family is torn apart when 14-year-old Annie (Liana Liberato) meets her first boyfriend online. After months of communicating via online chat and phone, Annie meets up with her new friend. But she soon discovers he is not who he originally claimed to be. Shocked into disbelief, her parents (Clive Owen and Catherine Keener) are shattered by their daughter's actions, with her father becoming obsessed with revenge fantasies. Forced to enter therapy, Annie refuses to admit she's been victimised. Trust tells the story of her family struggling to support her as she tries to come to terms with what has happened to her once innocent life.
Trust is in cinemas nationwide on 8 July.
