Gigandet sharpens his teeth with another vampire role

Twilight star Cam Gigandet seems to have found his niche - he will play a bloodsucking sheriff in his next movie outing.

The actor got his big break playing evil vampire James in the hit teen film earlier this year (09) and has been inundated with job offers ever since.

But there is only one part the star really wants to get his teeth into next - another vampire role.

Gigandet will play a night-roaming sheriff in the new movie Priest, which tells the story of a battle between humans and vampires.

He will co-star alongside Brit actor Paul Bettany, who play a priest desperate to save his niece from a bloodthirsty pack of fang-toothed villains.
