Wallace and Gromit's big day out turns sour
Props and sets from all the Wallace and Gromit films as well as Chicken Run, Morph and Creature comforts, went up in smoke as a fire tore through the Aardman warehouse in Bristol.
Nick Park, Oscar winning creator of the cheese loving inventor and his canine sidekick, said he was devastated. Though he said put in perspective it wasn't "a big deal".
Aardman Spokesman Arthur Sheriff told the BBC: "It couldn't have come on a worse day - we were supposed to be celebrating, but instead our history has disappeared in a couple of hours.
"Everything has gone, from as far back as Morph and all the way through to Chicken Run, including all the Wallace and Gromit films, Creature Comforts, it's all there."
The Curse of the Were-Rabbit goes on national release on Friday October 14th.
