Miley Cyrus to star in SATC 2?

Teen songstress and actress Miley Cyrus is reportedly set to star in the forthcoming Sex and the City movie sequel.

An insider told Life & Style magazine that producers are trying to strike a deal with the 16-year-old, who is a big fan of the first SATC film and the TV series of the same name.

"They've asked her, but she hasn't confirmed. Right now, they're just holding the space for her," the source stated.

Rumours about Miley having a small role in the movie, which began filming last week, surfaced last month, however her spokesperson was quick to squash them, saying reports were "not true".

Another celebrity reportedly lined up to star in the flick is Liza Minnelli, who will make a cameo appearance singing at the wedding of series stars Stanford Blatch and Anthony Marentino.

Yesterday (September 9th) saw all four SATC leading ladies united on set as Kristin Davis arrived for her first day of filming.
