Spielberg to revisit classics
The 59-year-old movie guru, who directed the much-acclaimed Munich last year, has confirmed that a fourth instalment of dinosaur classic Jurassic Park is in pre-production.
Michael Crichton, the author of the first film-inspired books, is on board but no news of potential casting has yet been released.
Producer Frank Marshall confirmed: "It has a good script now, so we should have that one up and running next year, for release in 2008."
But it that wasn't enough, Spielberg is also rumoured to be on the verge of agreeing a deal to bring back the character who helped define the action genre, Indiana Jones.
Rumours have consistently arisen suggesting the Indie franchise will be furthered but the latest news is that these rumours do have factual grounding.
Jones star Harrison Ford has said he is returning to the role, some 18 years after Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade, and at the ripe old age of 64.
Both films have provisional release dates for some time in 2008.
